Marco Peterhans

As a trained foreman specializing in horticulture, I wanted to get more involved in nature and that's why I decided to start working at Naturnetz.

My interest in nature was instilled in me at an early age by my parents. Born in New Zealand right by the sea, I was able to discover the underwater world at the age of eight. Later, after moving to Switzerland, there wasn't much that could keep me indoors, whether on foot, by bike, in or under water or at work. This urge to be outdoors also led me to abandon my landscape architecture studies and go outside again.

After realizing that I could no longer stay indoors, I followed my fascination with the ocean again and was able to discover and pass on the fascination of the underwater world as a diving instructor for eight years. With the decision to settle in Switzerland, I am happy to be able to do my part to preserve our landscape as an employee at Naturnetz and as a part-time farmer.
